Colloidal Gold (AuNP) concentrate
Colloidal gold is a ‘sol’ or colloidal suspension of nanoparticles of gold in a fluid, usually water. The colloid is usually a red colour, getting darker as the strength (measured in PPM – parts per million) increases. Gold can calm acne inflammation, reduce redness on the skin, and it can also protect your skin against free radicals that cause wrinkles or sun damage and because of gold’s antioxidant properties, Egyptians and Chinese medicine believe that the metal helps in increasing blood circulation which leads to a reduction in acne and other skin allergies. With aging comes the inevitable sagging of skin but the use of gold can reduce the breakdown of elastin and restore the elasticity of the tissues.
Unlike colloidal silver, colloidal gold is toxic at high dose, so if you are planning on ingesting it, it is important to take only a small amount each day. As far as adding drops to water is concerned, my advice is start with just one drop in a glass of water and try that daily for a while. If, after a week or two, you feel like adding 2 drops then go ahead. I’m a 65kg man and am happy to drink up to 5 or 6 drops per day, but usually don’t have that much. 6 drops into an ounce of water makes it about 10ppm colloidal gold (AuNP).
